Quite wonderful texture on the salmon. I'm glad you put so much attention to detail into this piece, it wouldn't be so impressive otherwise! Definitely a fave!

That is just amazing, I've never seen anything better done in Maya. I can only aspire and hope to someday become a fraction as good as you are. You're an inspiration to us who are learning maya slowly

Wow.. I can't believe how realistic that texture looks in this image... I don't think I've ever seen anyone use it in a way that looked convincing. Excellent work.

Im not saying this isnt amazing and I've seen it advertised around dA a bit but what urks me is that it looks EXACTLY like the one from the link you put in the comments, down to the placement of the loose grains of rice and the signature.

I think the reason why this deviation looks like the picture from the link in his description is because it is the same image. He drew both. On the right of the screen in the link provided in the description, it says "Instructor: Jeremy Engleman."

I think the only thing that bothers me is that the rice looks like styrofoam (sp?)...but that's just my opinion.
