But the rice is looks kinda wrong or something? and i think that you are hiding to much of your fantastic scene with the DoF :/

It's really really good, I just have one small suggestion - both the rice and the fish need a sense of translucence to them. Neither rice nor raw salmon look that opaque, especially not under those lighting conditions. (Rice photo: [link] ) See how the rice looks translucent, rather than opaque? That's what I mean. Salmon looks the same, it would have a pinkish kind of glow.
Still, very very very good. You definitely deserve the Daily Deviation. There's always room for improvement, though.

The rice isn't quite "transparent" as real rice, but that's one of the things that makes this so imperfect and captivating! It looks so real. Wonderful wonderful job! <3

I thought this was a photo at first glance then I actually looked at it. Amazing! I know a few people have already mentioned the look of the rice, but my personal opinion would be if it had a bit more of a translucent quality and a bit of shine it probably wouldn't look so dried out. Other than that it look wonderful and keep up the good work!
