That's the name he was given by the artists responsible for creating the cg model.

you sure caise i looked on the site at the other male t-rex(the red/cannibal one?) and they said he was called jack

Even if he ended up being officially called that, JeremyK9 isn't wrong, that is how "Jack" originally got his nickname.

Highly, highly, highly jealous of this piece! For curiousity's sake, how much was this altogether to buy it from Shapeways and get it finished by Shane Foulkes?

Shapeway figure is $13.31, but I can't say as far as build up price. Shane painted my pieces, as part of a kind of trade. You could always email him. I'm sure it won't cost too much more than the actual figure price.

Most of David's pieces are around that size. They will differ, depending on what Dinosaur your looking at.
