Description This is another attempt at a drawing I did awhile ago. Like how this one turned out much better. The reference was from a picture Nicole Fox took while on the TV show America's Next Top Model.

A gorgeous girl, and this pictures is simply amazing, love the position of her head, the flowing cloth in the water as she sinks down. Great colors too with the tone of her skin being whitish. Just a beautiful image and hopefully I kind of captured that. Was not real concerned about making it look like her, just wanted to try and capture that emotion she had in the photo.

Made with colored pencils.

Beautiful drawing. How did you get the water to look like this? Did you use a wash? Awesome job! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. And no I did not use a wash of any kind, I just layered the the colored pencils, over and over, and bottom colored in blue then colored ontop with black. Did not turn out perfect, but using a white color pencil helped give some different tones that were not just blue and black.

Wow! That is a lot of work. It must have taken a long time to get it just right.

It took awhile, and I would still say it is not just right, and always room to improve.

We are ususally our worst critics. After every drawing I've completed I always look at it and critisize it. I know what worked well and what didn't. With each new drawing I always attempt something new and challenging. That's how we grow and develop. I believe that after you sign your name to your art it is finished, completed, and you shouldn't go back to make changes. Just learn from it and move on. We always have room to improve our talents :^)
