Description
A photo of the sunrise through a heavily frosted window. I love how the light is diffracted by the ice.Digital. Canon 350D.

Neat. That is quite an interesting scene. The sun rising and ice covered windows makes a unique picture.

That turned out beautifully... maybe a more appropriate name for this would be 'Fire and Ice'

Oh wow, this is beautiful. From the thumbnail I could have sworn it was an oil painting or something of the sort, something decidedly abstract. The colours are simply gorgeous. Congrats on you for managing to capture this in photo form.

I love ice. It does great things for light!
And yes, the light is lovely - really evocative of birth and light and optimism.
Technically, the composure is pretty spot on. The swirl from bottom right to top left sweeps through the scene, drawing you to the sun light. As a side note, I have a preference for borders that either compliment or clash with an image. The gray distracts from the image I think; a black would vanish in the bottom right and be clearly apparent along the top - containing the image without adding another colour. Personal preference!
I can't see too well in the limited full view, but it appears that there is a noticeable level of noise in the image, and the focus on the ice is slightly out. Without speed / aperture / ISO I can't be sure - I think the same settings on a sturdy tripod would have given a sharper view of the ice - and allowed you to slow the exposure and drop the ISO if it is as high as I think it is.
It is a wonderful image though - how long did you spend by the window?

At first I thought, "what the f*** is this person on about, I said photography didn't I?". But I kinda had to eat my words this time. This is just a brilliant way to make a more or less dull and mainstream thing to something abstract and pretty!
I like the way the frosting curves and gives that "swirly" feeling! It's really a shame that the stuff in the right corner curves the wrong way, it kinda messes with the balance.
There's some stuff I'd remove by cloning (some dirt and lightspecks around here and there) But apart from that this is really rather good!

That is amazing and beautiful! I can hardly believe it's a photo. The icy streaks look like waves or big palm leaves. Wow!
