Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files is being made into a comic book brought to you by the Dabel Brothers and Del Rey Publishing. I thought this was a good idea. So I drew a quickie of Harry Dresden from what I knew of him in the SciFi show.On another note. I've been busy as hell. Too much on my plate at the moment. Coloring a 48 pager with TONS of detail, doing a website for my bro Chad Hurd [link] , and then a few projects I'm penciling that I'm not at liberty to talk about.
Now this was just a quickie to break from the monotonous days of a an illustrator / comic producer.

... Not really remotely similar to my mental image of him. The hairline is way too high...

it looks great XD the scifi channels harry wasnt the greatest representation and his hair line isnt that far back, but it looks great and despite the hairline its deffinatly harry. i like your style also...i would have much preferd this style for the comic books then what they chose, the one they chose is so stern and bland.

Hey I heard about Dabel doing stuff with the Dresden Files. Will have to see how that pans out... but I heard that there were some problems between Dabel and Marvel getting the latest Anita Blake comic out.

See I'm not a reader of the books, but I loved the SciFi show.. so I'm wondering how much the comics will appeal to me, because I know they are two different monsters. And I hear the show doesn't live up to the books.. but I'm not a book kinda guy.. Unless it's comics.

even if your not a big reader the dresden books are a must read. ive never been a novel reader myself and have major issues with focusing, but the dresden series grabs you by your eye balls and keeps you there for the whole book.

there are audio books that you can put on the ipod... makes for interesting listening material. And James Marsters (Spike from Buffy) reads 'em aloud. You can download the first few chapters for free from Buzzy Multimedia! Try iiiiiit... you will like..... XD~
