This was a drawing done for a battle over at LedHeavy.com/forumI don't plan on winning because I'm a site admin.. but whatever.. I had to do one because it sounded fun.

Have you read any of the New Mangaverse? Spidey's back and they've kept alot of continuity from the old Mangaverse. The Mutants, the Four, and the Avengers have been targeted in the wake of the original Mangaverse. Some unkown force is targeting and killing off heroes, and Spidey's been recruited by Tony Stark to be part of an underground resistance team.
I was afraid they'd scrap the original continuity, but they're really bringing us back to the Mangaverse.

thanks. I try to mix the style of the foreground and back ground. I always think that it makes it pop more, and brings your attention to where it's needed. Thanks for the comment on the color use, I appreciate it.

it was a young teen/pre teen spider-man in Marvel's mangaverse series "Legend of the Spider Clan" It set Peter on a different journey, and Uncle Ben was a sensei.. I don't know why they did it, but I always thought the design was fun. Thanks for the comment!
