I think it was the "angels take manhattan" episode ya. The doctor heals rivers hand but in doing so gave up his last regeneration body

I'm pretty sure it's still 13 lives for timelords. River gave up her remaining regenerations to save the Doctor so there must be a cap. It has been shown that the time lords were capable of giving time lords a new life cycle as they did with the Master during the time of the time war as well as resurrected Rassilon. It's also a possibility that the Doctor now has extra regenerations from River. Only time will tell...it always does (as the Doctor would say! ) :-D

He's the first one of the new show, but the first Doctor, the man in the middle, was the Doctor back in 1963. Also, don't worry, we have all had our own weird nerd moments *Pats Back*

Well, for the fiftieth anniversary this year, once a month on BBC they are doing three hour specials for each of the Doctors. In the next few weeks they should be showing three's special. They even show a classic episode of each in the special.
