Really? Well, Doctors 9 and 10 only got 2 seasons each, so 11 should count himself lucky. I knew this would be the last season with the ponds, but not 11 himself.

It's 15 times that he can regenerate before he dies but of course that is from the original storyline before they got canceled in the beginning. Anyway love this piece man I really think you did a great job with the expressions for the faces. I have one complaint that the 1st doctor isn't as grumpy as I've seen him in other pieces of work.

I thought I read somewhere that it was 13.

A Time Lord does indeed have 13 lives.
There have been occasions when the rule has been circumvented (the Master was able to live beyond 13 by possessing other bodies and was eventually given a new regenerative cycle during the Time War - no idea how far into that he was at last sighting though).
There has otherwise been nothing officially stated to oppose this (the Doctor's comment to Clyde about having over 500 lives during his appearance in the Sarah Jane Adventures was delivered in a manner that suggested he wasn't being serious) but there's no reason to suspect that the writers won't conjure up a means for him to regenerate indefinitely if the show is still suitably successful when they reach the end of his 13th life.

Yep. Well, the writers will think of something when that time comes.

well i heard it was meant to be a law(which would explain how they can be given a new regenerative cycle)and now there are no timelords he can regenerate infinite(or maby 507 times...)

While I think he's bluffing, they'll probably circumvent it. I think that, to solve the Doctor's death, that they'll make a Ganger/clone/whatever for the Doctor. Because the Ganger Doctor would've not regenerated, he gets 12 more continues. All the way up to Doctor 23, meaning we get another 50-60 years.
And yes, I wander what the next two Doctor's will look like. Who do you think the actor after Matt Smith will be?

Not too sure about the original, but I do believe it is infinite. Or for as long as people have interest in the show/property.
