[4 hours before the destruction of Black Mesa]

Ancient: "Okay everyone, let's brief about our mission again. We're here to locate any marines left behind and bring them back home in one piece. Any questiona?"

Alpha Kilo One members: "...."

Ancient: "Alright, and one more thing. This might not be part of the mission, but if any of you find any surviving Black Mesa personnel, take them with you too."

Dagger: "But how? They will most likely open fire the moment they see us."

Doctor: "That's why we need to find Red and Z Kill first. Alpha Kilo Two are already en route to their last known location. We just need to rendezvous with them."

Dagger: "Red and Z Kill, sir?"

Doctor: "Former HECU marines. Z is Jon's older brother."

Dagger: "oh..."

Ancient: "Now we got reports that Black Operations have stolen and armed 3 of Black Mesa's thermonuclear warhead. Shephard's team already taken care off 2 of them in Sector E, but the last one is somewhere in the Lambda Complex. Caid, we need you to locate and disarm it."

Shadow: "Me?"

Doctor: "You're the only one in our platoon injected with prototype nanomachines. You will be able to 'disguise' as one of the Black Ops once you came into contact with one of them. Use that to gather any info about where they put the warhead."

Ancient: "Take Saw and Paulsen with you."

Titan: "Roger that. Let's go, mate."

Paulsen: "Yes, Corporal!"

Ancient: "Cross, Hitashi, Wijaya, on me. We're gonna rescue our boys."

Kyubi: "Yeah, let's go!"

Dagger: "Affirmative!"

Cross: "Right behind ya, Jon!"
