Hard working and easy to get along with, despite the betrayals of her past. She jokes easily and has no issue moving at a slower, more relaxed pace. Her past still haunts her in some ways, though; despite having no reason to suspect anyone would recognize her from the old days (she was never really seen by anyone else outside the group), she's still paranoid about someone finding out, and tends to shut down rather quickly if she suspects they're catching on, going from jovial and easy going to curt and short tempered. For similar reasons, though she doesn't mind company, she ultimately prefers spending time alone or with her Tokos in the middle of the wilderness, far from prying eyes.

HISTORY

Orphaned at a young age. Roped into running with a bad bunch for a time, one of who's many crimes were selling Tokotas on the black market. An attempt to move several stolen Tokatos back to their base went awry when one of the wild ones fought back. The Tokotas got loose and Mara was badly scarred in the process. Fearing they'd be caught, her group cut their loses and fled, leaving both her and a few parcels of supplies behind.

Alone in the wilderness, an unlikely bond formed between her and the Tokota that attacked. Over the course of the next few weeks, she lived off of the supplies that had been left behind and worked on gaining the Toko's trust. When she was finally able to mount the beast without getting thrown, they made their way towards the nearest civilization and she started
her life anew.
