Description
I made a Dreadknight conversion, because, basically I think the original model is dreadful.I used the legs basically as is, just filled the reliefs, because I consider them to be a bit off for this model.
The torso was a bit of work, as I had to cut off the front torso where the terminator would have gone.
I then used left-over parts from the venerable dreadnought to cover it all up, and added some shields, as well as a head from the Defiler kit.
The heavy psilencer was shouldermounted using a dreadnought fist as a base, and just putting half a greenstuff ball on it. I topped that off with a sensorpod base from the command vehicle sprue.
I closed off the bottom of the heavy psilencer with a bit from the chaos vehicle sprue and added a sentinel powerpack to give it some body.
Finally, I closed of the other shoulder wit a storm shield, as I really hate those arm supports they have in the basic model. I have to say those fit remarkably well.
The arms are more or less as supplied.
Personally I'm quite happy with the way it turned out.

Looks a bit like the PTX-140 Hardballer Vital Suit from "Lost Planet". Sans the chainsaw of course.

So that's whats missing.... Truth be told I am unfamiliar with Lost Planet. Dread Knights remind me of baby carriers so I can't take them seriously anymore. I added a head and made for a shouldermounted gun (too much classic transformers) I acctually considered adding a ball and chain...

You're not wrong. Games Workshop aimed for the Power Loader look, and wound up giving the Grey Knights a ridiculous-looking Titan...which would easily be one-shotted by a Wraithknight.

Only if it doesn't wear an Inquisitorial mark of approval

yes, but even with that, its against the makings of the Emperor, therefore, Ordo Herta.

That's what the great Inquisitorial seal of approval is for, The inquisition tends to get away with lots of stuff that others would be shot, stabbed and burned on sight for (all three just for good measures).
I mean, even servo-skulls are kinda dubious...
Besides, there could just be bearly alive corpse somewhere in there...

Opinions on that vary, besides there used to be imperial robots in 1st edition, nor reason for an Inquisitor with strong ties to the adeptus mechanicus not to have one now.

Ahhh, not a part of the inquisition, just space marines, big difference.
We are talking about an organisation that uses bound daemons, not to mention Xenos tech. They are acctually quite the hypocrites when it comes to deciding what can and cannot be used. Do as I say, don't do as I do seems to be the credo.

that's kinda true, seeing that their assassins are using Nercon Tech as well as they are using daemon bounded swords

I considered adding a face shield, but like the Defiler kit, I concluded I like the sensorpod better.
