In the Fourth Season episode entitled, "Ego and Superego," Garfield Logan introduces a Welsh Corgi named "Wingman" as his emotional support dog during a group therapy session led by Dinah Lance/Black Canary. The idea of giving the Gar character such a pet came from his real-life voice actor, Greg Cipes, for whose own dog Wingman was named.

The assignment for designing Wingman for the show fell to me, and we reused that design for the moment Gar transforms into a green Corgi to play with Wingman on the floor. Aside from using available reference from the Internet, I found fun inspiration in Ein, the Welsh Corgi from COWBOY BEBOP.
