interesting integration of stock elements... certainly not what I'd expect for space terragen, but I could easily see this as cover art for a science fiction story... someone else has already pointed out the distracting fringe around the tree, but noticing that it also seems slightly translucent, it gives the impression of the tree being "miraculously" brought into existence...

Erm, actually I was trying to make it that way (tree miraculously brought to existence). Hence, the title is Hand of God.
