amazing work. such a feeling in it. the concept of the color with the life of that man, with the photos you selected, makes this very well composed. keep on doing this.

I agree with *intervention's comment. The colors are great! They add clarity, meaning and emotion to the entire composition. The pictures too are amazing! Great job!

Hey Mirte,
Yep I was quite surprised to get so much feedback on this... It is funny: that day I had no idea what to photograph, then suddenly I took my photo equipment and went to the museum. About 3 hours later I finished shooting. another 2 hours later my dia's where develloped. Same night I scanned them and putted them on DA... Normally it doesn't work for me, when I don't work things out... but somehow I just went with the flow...
Thanks,
how are you b.t.w.?
Greetz,
Jeronimo

Really like this
quite a graphic feel and the green filter seems to emphasise the mundanity (if thats a word!)

Thanks,
I had to check my dictionary to see what you meant with mundanity... But i found it and you're right ...

Amazing... This photography is so smooth and soft, this must be my favourite part of it, the green color makes it looks so clean in some way.
I'm amazed... Very good job Jeroen!

the funny thing is, my favorite part of this photo is the focus on the hands and the softness around the rest of the picture in the top-left hand corner shot. i also like the shaddow of the man when he's sitting down and his opaque reflection in the bottom-right hand corner shot. they're all little things, but the little things are what make up the beauty of the entire picture. plus your artistic skill

Muchos gracias sexyklutz...!!!
I'm a bit late, replying on my comments, but I had a stressful month completing my schoolyear at the photo academy...
I loved the effort you took to describe your vision on my photoserie. It's great to see what it is exactly that makes people like it or not....
Kind regards,
Jeronimo

haha it has been so long since i posted that comment i had to go back and actually check what i wrote. it's no wonder that you attend a photo academy. someone with your ability deserves to be there on full scholarship. the comment may seem a little far fetched but either i'm right, or i obviously know nothing about good photography. either way, you're very good and i added you to my watch so that i can see more of your work as it's added. i'm glad you enjoyed reading my comment. comments like "nice work" and "wow that's awesome" are a good ego boost but aren't real descriptive about what one liked or disliked about a picture. personally, i didn't dislike any part, i just liked some parts more than others.

in case you read this......
just wanted to say this is one of the best pieces ive seen on devart in a long long time. Even out of everyone ive devwatched - there seems to be a creative lull. Really is a great idea and a great piece - and I thank you for sharing it.
Also wanted to say - after a daily deviation - dont be too pressured to try and "live up to it" people still love you regardless if you recreate this piece or not. the piece will live on a lot longer if it doesnt have a bunch of clones created by you.
im still trying to figure the pressure part out - but i thought i would share. itd be nice if someone said that to me.
so im off to check out your gallery. hopefully it will live up to this piece
i really just need a good photographer on my watch list.

I'll take some time to look at your stuff soon...

A Daily Feature. Well deserved, because technically it's perfect and it's very pleasing for they eye and somewhat disturbing for the soul. Excellent quadruptych (?).
