Vandal Savage has located a reality-bending engine of Apokolips design, and has joined dark forces with Gorilla Grodd to put an insidious plan into play. Flash has been lured to an abandoned warehouse on an uncharted island in the pacific. Grodd places a mental suggestion into the Flash’s brain that he must use the Cosmic Treadmill to stop Savage’s time-related scheme in the prehistoric past. As Flash runs faster, awesome temporal energy flows into the Bendengine.

Reality is torn asunder. Diana is the first to awaken, at roughly 1 million BC—to a reborn history where dinosaurs walk the earth alongside Neanderthal, Cro-Magnon, and other proto-humans. She slowly encounters other heroines, in different, yet familiar garb. but where are the male heroes? Only Savage knows, and he’s not talking.

Is this yet another attempt at world domination? Or, is Savage just looking for love in all the wrong places?
