Description Moab Sunset. (to offset the bleak b/w of the previous image).
I think this was shot with the point n shoot, just as we arrived at the campground @ Big Bend. The colors have NOT been tweaked, btw.

Really, journal is coming soon ...

Great sunset image. Now, if only we can get your butt on a Trek or a Fisher. *L*

I kid. Seriously I enjoy your work and while I enjoy Midwest singletrack more, you still manage to make me jealous.
Thanks for sharing.

lol...

I'd love to rock one of those new Fuel EX's - what - Trek isn't running any "old man" sponsorships?

Thanks for the props - much appreciated. Being from "out that way"... all I can say is a fun trail is a fun trail, no matter where it is, right?

Thanks for taking the time to look Jamie, have a great week!

Are you part of the slow, old guy crew? Maybe we have a special membership for that. *L*

Certainly I'm partial to our product, but at the end of the day, I just want people to ride, so cheers there.

What do you mean, being from "out there?" Are you from the midwest?

old.. lol.. well, they say that 40 is the new 30 and all that, so its all relative, right?

Re: "out there" - well sort of. I grew up in mostly in Toledo, Ohio and spend my last fews years there in Columbus. I have to say, if you don't mind driving a few hours on Saturday or Sunday, there is a LOT of great riding there.

Very well done. The unique perspective draws you to the photo almost magnetically. The tones are fantastic. Nicely done.

thank you... I've seen some intense sunsets and skies out here.. and this was one of those where the colors were so unreal - I can't even boost the saturation in photoshop that far without breaking up the image

I usually miss out on the photo ops for sunset at Moab/Arches... got sorta lucky this time. I know.. sunset shots are sorta... cliche or whatever, but damn, the colors were mouth-watering... thanks!

thanks... I get a little "dumb" when I come across colors or settings like this. I was lucky to accidentally grab this composition at all

cool shots... same setting I see.. is that first one a double exposure or what? looks cool as hell however you did it

CorazondeDios In reply to jerryhazard [2008-10-14 10:48:22 +0000 UTC]

naa -- not a double exposure. just me, trying unsuccessfully to be a tripod for a camera's long shutter speed.

it came out really cool, though. I love it.
