Very interesting concept. It's nice that you open your artistic eyes when you are walking on the streets! I like the fact that it's called "when the worlds collide" and there is two "cityscapes" in the background. I don't know if you see what I mean. It's a good job on digitally removing the hands on your watch. I like the focus and depth of field. The settings are well chosen.
Lots of interesting visual contrasts : textures on the hand, smooth surface on the watch, dark sleeve, bright buildings juxtaposed to it, lower contrasts in the sky and in the buildings on the right. There are straight lines and circles, geometry and organic lines that catches the eyes and draws attention towards the subjects because the tention points are near the center. There is also lots of rythm, and that's not only the digits on the clocks, but also the pattern on the watch bracelet.
It's a very mysterious scene, and many interpretations are possible. I think it looks like a dream. A major caracteristic of a dream, is "device malfunction" or something like that. For example, light switch not acting correctly, or something. I learned that on [link] I just spotted some blur next to the 6 on the watch. Is it from the manipulation?
Anyways, yeah, it's got a strong feeling of abnormality to it. I think it's a success.

I saw this before thought I commented, I liked how the hour hands aren't there, making time off in it's own world!!!!!

I know what you mean... I think often about certain ways to depict ideas. I got very lucky in this photo, because it all came together in the span of 30 seconds - starting as soon as I spied the clock on the street with no hands on it.
I was quite happy.

Thank you for taking time to look and comment !

Wish I could dear, truly . Unfortunately, I only slip into these places quite momentarily, and I never know when they're going to pop up

Thank you for the kind words!

Thank you very much. The title I just pulled out of my behind at the last second, but it's the closest I could think of at the moment.

Really, it's more like an "un reality check", maybe that's what I should have called it

Thanks again!

Strange thoughts are cool - and thanks for clearing up the hands part

Anyway, my only thought was that it might have been good to have the same type of numerals on the clock and watch. A small thing and probably of no consequence - just a strange thought of my own!

Inter-est-tahng. Nice photoshoppery, looks good, although there's what looks to be a little water-smudge over the 6 on your watch.

Now that I look at again, I think I overdid the effects on this, as it looks as though it was a combined image, rather than just one (it is just one image, I just blurred the background a bit too much methinks).
The water smudge on the watch are actually scratches on the glass, it's my go everywhere watch, and has taken some nasty spills with me and my mountain bike

Thanks for stopping in!
