lol I love ballet and modern dance. I love expressing myself through many different types of art- paint, music, and dance. aww thank you! I love my skirt too! I have two! One is a peachy cream and one is yellow. Sadly I have not worn them since I moved to Kauai. The people here are not open to new ideas and cultures. I sometimes feel repressed and very limited in my freedom of expression. But I stay happy with my dance music and art. I bought a flute today! lol Art keeps me sane (=

Why don't you just wear what you want to wear, do what you want to do and allow people to accept you for who you are? Uni has allowed me to come out of my shell a bit, and I don't feel so intimidated by people as what I used to. I feel I can unleash the inner arty farty

I was like that on mainland. I had a lot more freedom to be an individual, I dressed so funky. It is a very different culture here compared than the city. Very different. I live on a small island with 50,000 people, we do not have a city, it is very country. It is like going back in time. When I go back to mainland (U.S.A) I unleash myself, even when I visit for a couple weeks. Just the culture on this island is so repressed and racist towards my skin color. I tear, paint, and cut up all my shirts and people are like,"how mainland" ... but now I express myself in other ways....yoga, dance, music, ext....

I would really struggle to live in a place like that I think... Why don't you move to live somewhere else permanently?

Because this is the most beautiful place in the world (arguably). I have been to 30 countries, and it is lovely here. I love nature and this is perfect for me. People here are very real, grounded, connected to our earth. It is a different culture, which gives me the opportunity to grow. And I have the best job ever! <3 We are starting a teen art center here!!!

Yes, I travel a lot. I started off traveling with my Dad, I learned from him the works. By the time I was 15 I started traveling by myself meeting organizations in various countries. From 16 onward I traveled primarily with ypo and wpo.

Well I wish I could do that - never travelled with anyone, I don't know the works, I'm terrified of the works! But I plan to take a big dive in my 3rd year at Uni to go on exchange to Germany. Sick of it here, lol

Australia has some beautiful scenery and photo opportunities, if you're into the coral reefs and beaches and such.
