The daughter of Eliza, Rianna develops a little girl's crush on Tails when he, Sonic, and Sally come to their town of Silverport. After she watches Tails doing flying stunts and hears of his adventures, she thinks he's the coolest and starts teasing him with hugs.

When Sally and Tails and other people of Silverport take an undersea voyage to find a Chaos Emerald underwater, Rianna stows away despite being forbidden to go. After Tails loses an underwater fight with Robotnik's mechs in the Sea Fox, Rianna uses the Chaos Emerald's power to change herself into a merfox to rescue him!
