This was supposed to be a quick doodle/practise in Painter 9 X) (yeah right) And then it just sort of... grew wings. Oh wells, because it was meant to be a practise pic I didn´t give it that much effort, so sorry for the lazeh bg. But the fac that there is a background is already something. Since I suck at doing them. Best part of this picture? The shadows her hair makes on her skin, but you can´t really see them well since this is a rather small version. But I do think that I learned something
Next I wanna do something with lotsa colorrrrss.....

I really love this image, it's so fluid both in colours and linearts. The expression on the character is also amazing, so fitting with the title.

I think she's absolutely beautiful! You did a great job with the body - the anatomy and the posture. I'm in love with those hands! Also, the colors you used work so well with this - especially in the background. It backs her up perfectly - gives a little depth to the picture without distracting from the character. I love those plants with the red in them...what are they? Calladiums or something like that? lol. I just know I've seen them at the nursery and want to plant them!

It could be your monitor. I have that problem with mine - I have 3 different monitors I work on here and my pics always show up very different on all 3. Drives me nuts! But yeah, I think the muted greens are what really made this pic stand out to me at first when I was browsing the thumbnails in the section.
