Concept-y arts from my story yes
These hint at the points of the plot a little more. Trying to go for a more Victorian feel with richer colors and a hint of whimsy.

I love this! I like how you used different styles to get different moods. I also love the girl with the red hair and headscarf - she looks like such an interesting character.

Your ideas are so amazing and you have such a talent with perspective and storytelling with one image! I love all the pictures, but my favorite is the last picture. The idea and the coloring is gorgeous in the finale! Pretty cool little experiments all of them. Are you planning on polishing them off and submitting as single deviations for them all?

I'm glad you liked that one! It felt like an appropriate finale picture to the whole thing.
I wasn't planning on polishing these, but I think it would be pretty cool if I re-did these as single pieces when I'm uh- a bazillion times better ;__;

Wow nice concepts. My favorite is the city in the dark one (with all the orange lights). I also love the little cap and scarf you've got on one or two of your characters there. I love that motif

I love how you've been experimenting with different backgrounds and lighting! And wow, those pastelly brushes;; they give your work such an organic feel! I particularly like how you used them on the girl with the curly hair near the bottom; she looks like she could be an illustration from a storybook. As for the black and white still frames blaaghhhhh SO CUTE! They remind me of old silent films, although I guess that's sometime after the Victorian period. :I

I can't get enough of that brush! So rough! It's especially nice to see what it does to thin strokes for detail
I think the earliest black and white movies were from the 1890s, if you could call them movies haha XD

This is gorgeous! The colours are sumptuous! I love the rich texture of the girl in the blue head scarf's hair, the bleak condensation on the gloomy window where the guy is looking out and the detail on the landscapes.

The first pic is just gorgeous, loved the pastel colurs and stuff from there. Kasia looks lovely like always, but that's a common thing!
You are also getting a whooooole much better with backgrounds (thing that I'm jealous about because I didn't xD). Besides, does Jared looks more... like all "bony", I mean he almost looks like a character out of Tim Burton's head, lol. 
I'm getting this into my faves, but in return I hired all these fellas to dance for you!

I've been meaning to make Jared look creepier so some Tim Burton style creativity never hurt, hur hur (the cat's tail is starting to look like a squirrel tail XD) so that's good to know :V

Oooh, I'm sorry about that. You see, I'm going through some artistic crisis in wich I have questioned my way to paint (since I always used smart layers and whatnot that made the process of conceiving my paintings in a kind of "mechanical" way) Now I feel the urge to revert that mistake by painting a lot (I guess I'm working more than before) than the urge to upload on the internet EACH finished work I make.
Now that you say it, I'm sorry for the lack of my stuff (since almost everyone who follow my works is just because the Layton fanart wich I no longer do in huge quantities I was kind of "meh, not feel like posting at all").
I will compensate you, I have a huge pile of works with my new way of colouring (now I use just some few simple layers in "normal" setting and now I ACTUALLY choose each colour making my own palettes), I guess that posting some won't hurt anybody! x)

Amazing mini-pieces. I like how you're able to convey so much emotion and anticipation with minimalistic flair.
The one that resembles an old-timey photo of a dog catching and killing rats for entertainment is a bit grisly, must admit.
