awesome characters it does have a permeating 'robbed from reality' quality to it! through the whole thing, I was wondering when will some wake-up-call happen that brings the characters out of their head -- but no, it's *completely* robbed from reality

Yes, completely. Except we were like, "we're in a coffe shop...go."
Also, the manager, when he comes in... That was actually my friend coming home from work. The first clerk just gave him the headset and the manager guy entered the scene half way through not hearing the first half.

Also, my eyes stopped focusing about right when the manager came and he suddenly got huge. It was really odd.

Yes the manager has a slightly larger head then everyone else. Thats just the way that character is drawn.
