Description
Started drawing several of the 1966 Batman villains. Burgess Meredith as The Penguin was a lot of fun to draw. Blue mechanical pencil lead, Brushpen, and cardstock. Colored in Photoshop.Related content

His is still very much THE Penguin in my heart, and I was born nearly 30 years after the show first aired! I laugh that laugh to this day when impersonating the Penguin!

Some things are eternal. I think even Christopher Reeves will be the iconic Superman even with the new films. Burgess Meredith is *THE* Penguin when talking about Penguin. Frank Gorshin is a very iconic Riddler, which is hard to say because John Astin is such a great actor.

He looked perfect for the part. While inking this, I kept making the Penguin laugh
