Description
Well, just a little photoshop and experimentation. This was just meant for fun, drawn in Barnes and Noble, to see how Merida might have looked had Brave been made back in the 60's, about the same time as 101 Dalmatians or the Winnie the Pooh movies. I tried to mimic the xerox animation style as best I could but truth be told I really liked the pose so I might redo this later as a full on pen and ink illustration. Actually Merida is a favorite character of mine so it would be good fun. Any comments welcome!Graphite on paper, colored in Photoshop

This is fun! I really like your concept behind it, and the picture itself is great!

Thanks, like I said, I think I'll do a version of this in my more book-illustration style, after all, Merida's pretty awesome as a character. I've been wanting to design a 2d model sheet for her (for my own personal practice) so maybe I'll post that whenever it's done.
