I start in either medium grade castaline or nsp chevant clay. Β It depends on how much detail I want before I cast into wax and detail it up.Β
Casteline is a little harder to work with your hands, but provides more detail.
Chevant clay is just so easy to move around, but can be too soft sometimes. Β
