He looks so sad and hesitant to try to break free, actually, especially with his somewhat fetal position and his drooping wings. Poor boy, can we make his boo-boos go all away

The hair is my absolute favourite part of the picture, especially with the little highlights in the black parts of it that makes it look really shiny and nice. The highlights in the blue parts look good too, but it's those in the black areas that really does it Also, that grass. It shows that you must have put some enormous effort into this picture, which is really nice. And last, but not least, his skin is just fabulous! It looks so smooth and all. Awesome work!

This setting is really romantic and dreamlike, it looks like he's sitting at the top of a tall pillar of some kind, or maybe this is a floating bit of land in this dreamlike space.. It's actually interesting that I thought of it as a pillar at first, high above the ground, because you create this effect subtly by using this deep space background and the title of this piece..
Argh again with the covered eyes! 
But you've used such strong and deep colours here, they complement each other and create this wonderful dreamlike atmosphere.. Awesome work!

*grin* while I"m in germany I'll see if I can't draw him without the cloth on. It just so rarely happens because of what that cloth does..... that I'm not really sure what kind of pose to put him in. But I'll figure it out.
