I love this picture. It brings back so many memories of a Teacher I used to have. She always wore pantyhose, dresses and heels to school and her heels were usually 4-5 inches. She was so small I couldn't believe it. I was very tall for my age anyways but she was well under 5 feet tall.
She would always take off her heels at the end of the day either because her feet hurt or she didn't like making noise in class as she walked around. I loved watching her walk around class without heels on because her feet were so tiny and beautiful too. I was only 9 but so turned on already. At the end of my 4th grade year I started a huge growth spurt that would go for almost two years but mostly the next year. I was talking to her like I usually did after school and she paused and then took off her heels. Wow, I was taller than her and she realized it for the first time as she was talking to me. I think she saw that even with her heels on I was almost as tall as her. I loved the feeling of looking down to her for the first time. I was only about an inch taller than her at the time.
As luck would have it I got her again for 5th grade. I had an amazing growth spurt that summer and all the next year. I grew 4 inches that summer. When I came back she was shorter than me even with her tallest wedges on. she would always smile and stand up as straight as she could when I would walk by. She loved teasing me but I could tell she was a bit apprehensive about being shorter than her student. She would hardly ever take her heels off anymore and when she did it wasn't when I could measure with her.
I had an amazing growth spurt that year and grew an additional 10 inches during the school year. She seemed to shrink right before my eyes and soon I was much taller than her even with her heels on. Soon I would see her without her heels on too and she was so small to me. I continued to grow tall through the years and loved how little she became to me.
