yep! I found a free download from tumblr, tested it (to make sure it was legit/worked/etc) on my lab computer and it DID! its amazing software (though I haven't yet figured out all the bells and whistles), and I am really glad I didnt have to pay hundreds of dollars for it.

I already have the latest version and have no idea how to use it properly. and did pay way too much for it as in.... full price. what the hell was I thinking.

What I need is a good user's guide. the official website is not helpful. photoshop, y u no come with how-to book.

I KNOW RIGHT. mine is downloaded, so it comes with no type of booklet or anything. Im just bacially using tutorials on DA.

the OFFICIAL copies don't come with guidebooks! If you click help, you just get photoshop's website, which isn't much help! And if you're not connected to the internet, you;re totally screwed if you get stuck.
700 freaking dollars and no guide.
I should have stuck with paint shop pro... it doesn't have the custom brushes photoshop has, but other than that, is mostly the same thing... had a copy of that for $100 which I got way back in the early 2000's. And THAT came with a nice big guide book in the box!
