An unusual bird. (At least it isn't common everywhere.) I saw a type of Grebe briefly here where we live (on a small lake) about 3 weeks ago and haven't seen one since. It didn't hang around and it was just too far away for a good photo but close enough I was able to get it's picture and identify it in my Audubon book.
