Description
At first I thought this might be a Prairie Falcon until I saw her fly.I have a small series of her that I will be posting soon.
Shots like this are only possible due to my wife not only encouraging me but often waking me up early before I go to work and telling me "Go out and shoot!" (and yes try and get some ravens!)

I have a "quick release" system on my tripod... just flip a lever and you go to go hand held....makes these type of shots possible..even with the swivel head, you'd be hard pressed to capture an image like this one.. Well done my friend.

This was hand held. Β I try and use my tripod 95% of the time, but sometimes there just is no time! Β I do use the tripod 100% when shooting Ospreys though!
