Isn't that the noxious pest, invasive European finch commonly mistakenly called a Sparrow? They are decimating the American Bluebird population...

I am 100% sure it is common house sparrow (Passer domesticus )Β I don't know about the America, but here in Poland it's populations are declining in many places. I see more magpies than sparrows nowadays

I just love birds, period, but finches are so small I think that is part of why I like them so much, and I didn't even realize that sparrows are of the finch family until this winter we just got out of.Β The beak never registered with me before, that a sparrow has a finch beak, I mean.Β Captain Obvious!Β Β
