Description
On a very overcast day this little fellow was flitting about. Β When he posed/landed in the crotch of this tree I knew I had about two seconds to frame the shot before he moved to another spot.(I was right)An interesting thing about nuthatches, unlike woodpeckers they do not brace themselves while on a tree trunk using their tails and have a very powerful grip!

Thank you! Yes I was pushing the limits of acceptable Hi ISO on this but I love the natural frame of the tree and his position I felt very lucky to get the capture!
