=wolf-wind has some fun contests. This time the theme is native americans. For me, it means teepees, scalping and mystical forces and movies like Dances with Wolves, Last of the Mohicans, and don't forget those spaghetti westerns. So I give you teepees, mystical forces and dancing with wolves. Scalping almost happened when I had to redo a chunk of this, but I think it came out for the better.Jet (shall we call him Quickwind) and Wolf Wind, dance and summon a bird. It looks like a kingfisher. I haven't drawn Jet in ages, especially with no clothes. Lol loincloth. My second attempt at foreshortening/perspectiving a leg came off a bit better.

Gorgeous artwork.Love the look of that beautiful sunrise in the background and how the smoke looks like a bird is rising from the fire. It seems to me they are performing some kind of dance ritual. Love your artwork style

Holly thats just creepy. I have my music on random and when I clicked on your Dances with wolves image guess what song came on. The main tittle from dances with wolves movie sound track. *giggles* Anyways that odd coincidence aside, time for a little commenting. forshortening is definatly one of the toughest things to acomplish in my opnion. Though others it seems to come naturally. Maybe I don't spy on people around town enough and watch them move. I'm always afraid someone will think I'm a little off. hehe. I think you did a great job of it with jet. His thigh on his left is angled very well The right leg is tough for me to decide because I myself am still learning how to forshorten. Anyways I like the fact you drew Jet and this wolf. Quickwins sounds cool too. By the way, nice bicepts and cast shadows on Jets arm. Yum.

Now that is spooky D: I have it in my music library too! Yet I mostly listened to Forrest Gump themes (gorgeous, they are)
I haven't drawn Jet in ages, so wanted him to be good(looking)
His right or our right? His left (my right) was the dodgy one. Thats the foreshortened one. Atleast it was when I redid it. So then I had to tweak and alter the lowerleg, that was the real problem. And now that I look back at Wolfwind, she has very bendy legs... 
I've set up my own website last night, and called it Quickwind studios. Sounds better than Jet Studios, but I havent made my mind up yet!

I really like the sound of QuickWind. It sounds right and it doesn't set a preconception in the mind. Jet studio's sounds good to but it protrays something in electronics possibly or airlines. not to mention the fact that there are a few american based companies that start with jet and some out of country. Its hard to say Holly. Both may well be good but my vote is for Quickwind.

hehe. I was soposed to be my professional web page but I never released it because it is just so much work and way out of my league. I wish I had more pc talents. *giggles* You have the best of both worlds. Maybe that should be my next collage class. basic computer and then web design. It would be supper tough for me but it sure couldn't hurt.
