Description
This is a sword hilt design that will be 3D printed on 3Dsystems MJP printer in wax for lost casting. (top right).
The hilt is one piece.

Originally designed as an Arming sword (One handed ), I got carried away and the design became a Hand-and-a-half / Bastard Sword.
The final blade will be forged by Rob Miller at Castle Keep, Scotland at an appropriate length and weight to suit the hilt.
The tang of the blade will run the full length of the handle and will be peened at the tip of the pommel.

This was produced to show that a large and ornate design can be 3D printed in wax and cast in the one of the hardest materials to cast, stainless steel.
