OH now this is neat....reminds me of that scene from the WOW promo with the blood elf and the mana wyrm....
It has an otherworldly aspect with the creature and the purple haze, yet the detail and expression feels quite real.

It feels like this would be a photo taken of Refrain on his long journey somewhere far away... This is simple but beautiful and wistful. 
The lizard makes this more interesting and eye-catching. The pose is lovely and the blue color stands out and I love the way how the branch is shaped; it has a realistic shape.
The trees are nicely set but I just wish you had used more time for shaping them.
