Can't pick a favourite--too many good ones. If u can, look up a guy named Alberto Giacometti>> he did a portrait of Jean Genet that reminds me-ish of some of your schtuff, but in any case, I think you'd like him.

The composition on this one keeps throwing me off a bit. Not in a bad way...I'm so used to seeing centered portraits, it's great to see people break out of that. I like the blue boxes, they help lead my eye around. The drawing is so full of energy, you've got a wonderful sketchy style.

i always like to see stuff that reminds me of other artists - just to see if I can guess people's influences. this is really cool and i like the references to giacometti - i saw some really great paintings by him at the beyeler foundation in basel. keep up the good work

I'm getting serious Giacometti vibes from your gallery. That's a very good thing.
I'm quite fond of this image. I'm a big fan of painting/drawing onto pre-used boards, so I suppose I'm slightly biased. Composition-wise though, this is very sound. The blue boxes help the eye travel around, the figure is nicely positioned ... everything just flows. Which is great. Things perhaps get a bit too spidery up in the top right-hand corner for my liking; up until then your linework has been intense and frenzied but still pretty tight, but up above the subject's head there's this kind of throw-away halo of lineage that I don't think you really needed. Or something.
All the same, a really nice piece. Your whole gallery looks fantastic, in fact. If I get more time I'll have to stop by again!

I like it, too. What the others have said: The lines, the colors. The frantic-yet-precise lines make a great contrast with the splotches of color and calculations on the support. Very nice!

Thanks. Eventhough its a bit different to my previous works, the line quality never changes.
