Description
This is a collagraph, which is a traditional printmaking technique. I collaged a variety of materials onto a base "plate" and also etched into the surface.I then apply ink into the matrix of materials, and polish it back; revealing the materials texture. The inked texture captured in the materials is transfered to paper by pressing the paper and the plate together with a printing press.
The plate can be reused to make numerous copies or editions.
Plate size- 35cm by 50cm

You requested a Critique.
Mine is that I've never seen any comparable print.
It's good that you send these up to the web, before
some more established artist steals your style
Brilliant mix of surreal, real, organic, geometric.
And the left eye is a masterpiece.....hahahahahah
Wish I had such talent at your age m8

I love it! I like the variation of different marks and surfaces. It makes avivid impression. It reminds me of aqvatint-technique, which Iยดve tested. Then you etch into a plate as well. (copperplate)
