Wow. This just floats off the page. The power of chaos, armor, and inked flesh in shadow...

Wow, this is a truly fascinating collagraph of a face. I love the use of shape to create texture. Even though the details are quite subtle the face pops with a 3-dimensional quality.

I like this - to me it's understated but powerful. Dark and intriging.

I really like this one, coz it looks like the head is hollow, like the face is a fragmented shell bartely held together by wires... yet its sort of stormy at the same time like a tempest...
which is all great in a subjective way... ie- it reflects detatchement, anger, frustration, loneliness, depression... to me that is...
and of course I like ur use of pubic hair ... u dont seriously do u?

Thanks . I needed hair at the time, and experimentation is a must in art.

out of the three i like this one the best, i think it's becasue it fits on the paper well and it's centred than and the colour fits the whole image it's self very well
great work

i'm on dial-up so it downloads slowly and in bits. so before you're aware that it's a face it's a cave with a ring of people standing sullenly, defensively, inside it looking out. then the face suddenly fills out and you can't find the cave full of people any more.
so stunningly good.

this is a cool technique - i've never heard of collagraph before! the effects are deep - i love this sort of messy imagery.
(p.s. pubic hair?)

wow!
Absolutely great work...
the placement of light and shadow are still your usual segmented raw style, but this one seems to have a lot more control, more depth.

Agreed with insanejesture--this is one of my favorites out of all your works so far (and I like all of them quite a lot). I love how you used the tape to bring out the highlights; the textures are amazing. Or at least, thats what I'm guessing you used the tape for? Love how the bottom parts, in shadow, are lighter and blue rather than black.. there are so many subtelties to explore, here

oh my gosh! I love it!!! I like the concept and vocabulary you used! I wish it was a little bit lighter, but other than that it is really fascinating, and I really hope you continue with this direction!

I think it's my favorite so far...
There's something... Industrial about it... Reminds me of smokestacks coming from a coal factory.
Very sullen
I think I like it mostly because it's in gray scale.

Im glad you pointed out that. It is suppose to reflect today and the people now . I think the industrial feel is definatley a strong emotion in this piece. There is always meaning in my pieces, most of it is delievered through pure emotion.
