During the climax Proffesor Maurice and Deacon had an "intense" confrontation. And Double U spend the whole thing asking what is going on and why. Although not much is going to change about my character's lives after that. No apocaliptic nor post-apocaliptic scenarios this time!
But yes, the crossover is cannon.
