Description
The extent to which us Americans annoy the rest of the world never ceases to amaze me.Apparently the way we say "hi" is annoying. Who knew? XDDD
The story: I came across a fanart in which England was being his tsundere self an yelling the shit out of America threatening to rip his dick off and such, to which America's meek reply was "WTF all I did was say 'hi'..."
Since I'm a nosy bitch, I was browsing through the comments of the deviation and one deviant had commented "lol well maybe it's because the way Americans say hi is really annoying (like HIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHI!!!!!) no offense XD"
And me, being the nosy bitch that I have already stated I am, went to the deviant's profile and found they weren't American (surprise, surprise).
Now, I'm pretty much positive they were joking (or trying to) but for some reason it made me sad. IDK... it's hard to be a proud American these days, and even harder when you're a Hetalia fan...
So I decided, instead of moping, I'll make a comic strip XDDD
To be honest, unless they're an attention loving whore, most Americans I know say hi the first way (with variants of the greeting such as "'sup" and "hey there!"). Me included ^^
Now as for the comic itself. I didn't put much effort into it, though I gotta say this is the closest I've ever gotten to drawing Alfred the way I want him to look (SOON, MOTHERFUCKER. SOON MY HAND WILL DRAW YOU THE WAY MY BRAIN DEMANDS). Also, I have shitty handwriting to begin with, let alone when I'm using a tablet XDDDD
Okay, I'm done talking, goodbye everybody.

I'm pretty sure most Americans don't say it like that...
Why are we considered so annoying? Do people forget about the pompish English accent or the stuck up nasally French nose

I don't even say 'hi' anymore. xD I say "Halloo~!" to familiar people, but to strangers I say "Hello... ^//^"

When I say "hi" I usually say either "Wassup" (cause I tend to slur my words together), "Allo", or "Hallo." XDDD

I usually headbutt people as a greeting, or say "hey" whichever one's more socially appropriate.

I've found a good glare does wonders as an introduction. If they persist they may be rewarded with a nod or a "Yo."

Yeah, I'm used to hey, and wassup
lol I'm like a reverse Hetalia fan. For most people they got into history because of Hetalia and love their country more because of the character. For my, I got into Hetalia because of my love of history and I like Alfred because of my love for my country XDDD but I say either way is awesome

Hehe. I got into them both at the same time and then brought them together. Probably explains why I like Darktalia so much
I'm sorry, I can't take that pic seriously, that joke was just too funny XD

Well I'm half-Filipina, but I have a very American accent, though where that accent is from comes into question a lot In the South they say it's northern and in the North they say it's southern, and then there's a matter of east coast and west coast >.>

I think it's because it's easier to act on the stereotype rather than actually get to know a person still doesn't make it right...
