Pretty much the only thing I've completed since Guys and Dolls last week. *sigh* Which was a very, very long six performances.But... back to the painting. The Wart (King Arthur), pulling the sword out of the stone, based on the Disney film. Done with watercolor.

Wooow I never ever knew you could pull off this style so wonderfully. oOo This looks like as if you worked for Disney and all. I love the sharp crisp lines on the boy and the watercolors blend together well. ^^
Howeveeer, I guess you can next time add some yellow highlights to the area since there's the yellow glow. Like, the blade would be reflecting off the yellow glow and so would the rocks and snow.
Other than that this is a very well painted piece.

Ah, yeah.... good point about the sword. I dunno... I think subconsciously I didn't add any yellow to the sword was because it's kinda the... focal point of the painting? I dunno. But the light is kinda coming down because of the sword, so the sword shouldn't be affected by it... ?
*shrugs* i dunno. Haha.
