Watched this '97 anime recently & enjoyed. The first Speed Racer I've seen.
I noticed the original series had many views/thumbups, while this series had little.
But I chose this, preferring the artstyle over the retro original.
Haven't seen much fanart for this show.

(l to r): Mai, Racer X, & Go Hibiki. Did rough drawings, close to screenshots I took.
Mai's a photographer & a great lead female. She likes Go.
X helps Go once in a while, & has quite the true identity. Spoilers, anyone?
Go is a solid main hero; on & off the racecourses. Gets along w/his parents.

Later episodes (like Gadget Boy) involve time travel.  Hope you enjoy.
