That is a beautiful painting, especially the colors and light on her skin.Β  It reminds me of Mary Cassat for some reason; maybe it's the use of green in the shadows.Β  Her skin seems very alive and warm.

I first apply a base tone blue on the canvas, then I started with the sketch, dark tones and crimson tones, along with white lights, all rough to start with the transparencies after glasse and I have to itemize the fabric of the head and the waist

amazing detail the skin tone is very well done. I agree with Vlherron the ripples in the fabric are awesome. I understand it is unfinished but i think the shadow of her leg on the other leg might need to be alittle bigger it looks more like a poles shadow but still amazing over all (I can't talk down I do abstract) and cant wait to see the finished piece.
