Thanks, I can't take credit for the idea though, The client was a big Bette fan. The plane is based on Dave Stevens drawing.

The Plane is the Gee Bee racer, and Dave (quite cleverly) chose it for not only it's cool look visually, but for authenticity. The aircraft was deadly fast, (considered a killer and unforgiving to unskilled pilots) and something a ROCKETEER would fly.
