this is my entry for the " more than just black and white contest" at-
there's some really tough competition
and i'm very happy that so many wonderful artists took part in this contest
-
i started this 3 days ago as pink and red (which later became pink, red and green)
at first, i thought "wow these colors don't blend at all, they look ugly, i should just delete this"
then i remembered about the contest and figured i'd try desaturating it
i loved the way it came out so much that i decided to make it into a print, also

Yeah I guess thatΒ΄s the way to go, well my coloured desaturated still look dull, this one glows in some way still even tho its not with any colours, anyway, happy christmas

That is absolutely amazing. It definitly belings in the 'mmore than just black and white' because it really IS so much more. The orientation of the image creates a very active mood, and you have done a nice job with the layout and size. Keep up the graet work!

There's so many elements I love about this! All the different abstract shapes and on full view it looks like water reflections! And just with different shades of black and white...you're amazing.

I've always thought black and white were so classy together, but this one really makes me feel that more than most art I've seen. I'm not even sure what it is that makes me feel this way right now. hmm...maybe it's the curved leaflike chain that rolls across the middle. Or the subtle crackling of the background.
hmm..I'm not sure what it is. But this is really well done!

Wow! It actually made me a bit hungry at first glance, the shapes reminded me of a trail of fortune cookies. Even if it's not food, the piece is still delicious.
