Description Oil on canvas. 30 X 24".

One of the most difficult things for me was painting this from a black and white photo. Getting the right colours is almost impossible.

they could use a little bit more definition
but the way it is now is already good.
i'd only change it, if it keeps nagging me ^^

Black and white is good because it emphasizes light and dark. Keep practicing.

I learned To paint from black and white 10 yrs, ago , and my first picture was so hard. My first one is In the Park with with Grandma, on my gallery. I have painted from old family pictures. You did a good job.

I must just add, I think I have learned a lot from this black & white exersize. Not sure if I want to do it again but I suppose its a good way of practising the use of colour. This is one of those areas I can improve on!
