Is she broken cause she is lonesome and she doesn't feel right when he's gone away?
(its a song for those who don't know, one of my favourites)

Not sure, but I think it takes more than that to break this girl.

you never know.
Actually the song hit me and inspired me to write because I took the lyrics in a different way. Most people think that it's just because their other is not home, but it hit me because I lost my fiancee to breast cancer and that's how I felt, like I was broken.
I certianly hope that's not the case for her, but that's the song that came to mind when I saw this
If you haven't heard it, check it out. Broken by Seether F. Amy Lee

Thank you. It has helped shape me into the man I am today. If you want a crazy things work out for a reason story, that's my life. I met her 9 years ago in the Seal Cadet program, where we always had each other's back. Then I went to university for Astrophysics, and half way through my degree she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I decided to hope over to biology in the hopes that I could help find better treatment, because I believed she was going to win this fight. She lost the battle last summer, but I have decided to continue it for her. Now I am a valuable part of a team because I know astrophysics and biology (molecular and synthetic) and am developing a new mathematical model that attacks breast cancer caused by the brca1 and brca2 genes, applying astrophysical equations to biology. So far my model hopes to cut treatment from months and years to days and weeks, with the ability to reverse third and fourth stage cancer, giving hope to those who don't have any. The model is well under way, we are about to begin testing. I was just a year too late, but I aim to make her proud. Perhaps this is what we needed to finally deal a devastating blow to cancer and bring it to its knees.

Wow, you have turned tragedy and loss into triumph and hope. I wish more people could tackle life's most difficult events by rising to fight the culprit. Cancer of all types needs to be eradicated from the face of the earth. Thank you for your service and for your continuing the good fight in your scientific research! May you and your team succeed, for the loved one you lost, and for all women in the future.

Thank you. I had to rise to the occasion; it's what she would have done. Hopefully by bringing down this cancer we can pave the way for treatment of others. Interestingly enough, the brca1 and brca2 genes have strong evidence showing they are involved in prostate cancer. Breast, prostate and lung cancer are the top three fatal and common cancers. But my fight is nothing without people like you. There would be no point to saving lives if there wasn't anybody enjoying them. I'll continue my fight, but you have to keep up the good work, deal?
Also on a side note I had the opportunity to talk to one of your models, Breena, she seems nice. Hope I didn't creep her out, I just like to get a feel for the variety of the people I am fighting for.

Glad we have a deal! Yeah she seems nice, based on the brief conversation we had. I just love talking to people and would have liked to talk more, but we are all probably pretty busy. What about you? Is photography something you do for a living?

Yes, I do make my entire living on photography, happy to say. The types of artistic nudes I do here, however, aren't big money makers. But they are a big part of my "meaning of life", doing artistic work that I love and am proud of, with beautiful women who are my friends, muses, partners in the creative process. That is the work I post here on DA, the images I love most.

That's awesome! One of my favourite sayings is "If you find a job you love, you'll never have to work another day in your life." And who doesn't like working with beautiful women. I don't get such a privilege haha. In fact there is a good old joke about us astrophysicists.
"Beautiful women and black holes have two things in common; they both have very attractive bodies and both seem to elude astrophysicists." hahah.

Then you'd know the truth behind that joke . I mean I was lucky to have met my fiancee and that she could put up with my insanity. It is a fun field though. Crazy mind bending concepts. I love (and am great at) teaching it. If you ever want to learn some astrophysics just let me know; I can teach you some of the basics.

It's good to be informed! Just give me a shout if you want to take me up on that offer, or if there is something you would like to discuss, (What kind of life do you think is out there? Carbon based? Silicone based? Nitrogen based?) or whatnot. How versed are you in the mathematical side of it?

That's yet another topic, speculations on alien forms of life are actually astrobiology, not astrophysics. But we are really off topic from the image above, so if we continue this conversation, lets talk in private messages.

There is a series of these, it will be clear that she wasn't hurt by the end. The safety of the models is my first concern whenever we shoot, and Sam's one of my best friends, so she's super safe!
