I'd say the shots were worth it they are all beautiful shots and she's a trooper to be outside that long.

She sure was. It was December in Wisconsin, didn't bother her at all. She is a very strong girl.

Thanks yes, we shot this at dusk, as the light was getting away from us. This was done in one take.

Fawn spent about 30 minutes outdoors in the Wisconsin winter, 17°F, doing these Wolf Hunter shots. Her idea, not mine. But the shots were well worth it. This sequence where she ran toward the camera was done in one take. The sun was already down, light was fading. I shot at an amazing ISO 3200! My Nikon d300 is one of the few cameras that can actually get clear, non-grainy shots at 3200 so that worked out well. The auto-focus also tracked her flawlessly as she ran.
