I always have to remind myself why I don't draw defined lips on guys and that's 'cause they look like girls. Something I need to practice. Anyway my character, Jake, or Captain Jake. This is a portrait type picture of him when he is about 14.

The hair didn't turn out as well as I hoped. I could have made it look 10x's better, but I got lazy and I just wanted to finish the picture. The line art is also messier than I like it to be. Though I really like how I shaded his skin. First picture I've ever liked the way the skin looks. Yaaaaaay....
